Mohamed Osman, electronics design engineer.
Four years in high-reliability robotic hardware for mission-critical environments, plus EPOS and embedded systems work. MSc Electronic & Electrical Engineering (Loughborough), First-Class BEng (UNITEN).
Why Innovotype exists
Innovotype exists because good hardware engineering shouldn’t be reserved for teams with deep pockets. Connected hardware runs on sensors and controllers deployed by the hundred, in the field, far from a lab — and too often the choice is between fragile hobby-grade boards and over-priced commercial systems. I build the missing option: reliability-grade electronics designed for real deployment economics. Every design is cost-aware, field-serviceable, and built to survive where it’s installed.
Experience & education
Electrical & Electronics Engineer
PCB layout and schematics for high-reliability robotic hardware in mission-critical environments. DFM reviews, IPC compliance, DFT, fabricator liaison and component sourcing.
Electronics Test Engineer
Hardware testing, diagnostics, firmware updates and functional validation of EPOS systems.
MSc Electronic & Electrical Engineering
Loughborough University, UK.
BEng Electrical & Electronics Engineering, First Class
Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Malaysia.
Working principles
AI-augmented KiCAD
AI tools speed up schematic capture, review and documentation. Engineering judgement stays with me.
DFM / DFT first
Manufacturability and test access are designed in from the first schematic, not added at the end.
Transparent engineering
Design files, decisions and review notes are shared as the work progresses.
Honest about trade-offs
Cost, size, power and timeline pull against each other. You get the options and the reasoning.
